Stefan works at Die Mobiliar in Switzerland as a Cloud Engineer driving towards the Azure cloud. The Mobiliar, founded in Bern in 1826, is the oldest private insurance company in Switzerland. It is still anchored as a cooperative.  He has 20 years of experience working in IT. Before becoming a consultant Stefan worked as a System Engineer for multiple companies. Consulting on designing, implementing, improve, upgrade and update System Center Operations Manager, Operations Management Suite (OMS) and Active Directory environments. In addition he had a strong focus on automation using PowerShell, SMA and Azure Automation. In the past 2 years  Stefan has just focusing on the Microsoft Azure platform with all its bells and whistles. Besides that, he likes to  explore C# and try to build useful tools. In the past he has also contributed to the book Mastering Windows Server 2012 R2 (Sybex) .

In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Stefan received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Cloud and Datacenter Management (CDM). He has done more than 50 sessions at community events all over in Europe at events like System Center Universe, Geekmania, User Groups, Experts Live Events, E2EVC, Azure Saturday etc. about SCOM, Automation, PowerShell, Azure and several other topics.
